Clear communications, built for community-rooted organizations.
About Me
Hi, I’m Kayla.
I’m a communications specialist based in Western Massachusetts. My work is rooted in a simple idea: when community materials and websites are clear and accessible, people get the support they actually need.
Background & Roots
I hold a Master of Arts in Communication (Southern New Hampshire University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Bay Path University). Beyond my education, my approach is shaped by over 15 years of hands-on experience in direct care, human services, and community advocacy.
Working directly with community members and local non-profits taught me that good communication isn’t about flashy buzzwords or complicated tech. It’s about clarity, empathy, and making sure vital information is easy to find.
Why Work With Me?
- Real-World Experience: I understand the daily pace and budget realities of small human services agencies and community programs.
- Low-Stress Collaboration: I handle the ongoing technical upkeep and visual layout details so your team can focus entirely on your mission.
- Accessible First: I design layouts and format text with plain language principles in mind—ensuring your messaging is welcoming to all readers and ESOL learners.
